Cinnamon Overnight Oats

This high energy breakfast recipe will set you up for the day and is ideal for an early start as it requires zero prep time in the morning! It is also really simple to make and needs just five ingredients.
Serves 1
40g organic porridge oats
Half a cup organic almond milk
2 tbsps organic whole chia seeds
1 tsp organic ground cinnamon
Half a tsp organic vanilla extract
 
First soak the oats in fresh clean water for 1 hour then drain and rinse. This removes some starch and makes the oats more digestible. I find it easiest to use a sieve to drain and rinse them.
Add the vanilla extract to the almond milk and pour over the oats.
Mix in the cinnamon and chia seeds.
Cover and leave overnight. 
These will be ready to enjoy the next morning with no cooking required.
