My Go-To Green Juice

Green juice is a great way to get lots of readily absorbable nutrients straight into your system! It is best to enjoy green juice on an empty stomach so this recipe is great for first thing in the morning or mid afternoon to avoid a slump! The lemon and ginger add a nice zesty flavour to this one. I use a masticating juicer to cold press my juice and preserve as many nutrients and enzymes as possible.

Ingredients:

3 sticks of organic celery

Half an organic cucumber

A handful of organic sunflower sprouts

2 inches of organic ginger root

A wedge of organic lemon

Juice all ingredients together in a masticating juicer and drink within 15 minutes of juicing.
