This is a really quick smashed avocado or simple guacamole recipe. It’s perfect to whip up as a quick snack or to serve before a meal.
2 organic avocados
1 tsp organic ground cayenne pepper
Half a tsp organic sea salt
1 wedge organic lime
Half the avocados, remove the stones and place the flesh in a bowl. Add the ground cayenne pepper and sea salt. Squeeze a few drops of lime on top. Use a fork to mash the avocado flesh, mixing in the cayenne, salt and lime. Mash until the flavours have mixed well and the avocado is mostly smooth with just a few chunks.
Serve with tortilla chips or vegetable crudités. I use the ‘Amaizin’ organic corn chips which are available in most health food stores and some supermarkets. I love the paprika ones!
