Pancake Tuesday
It’s almost time for one of our favourite days of the year; Pancake Tuesday! These organic buckwheat pancakes are a simple and tasty alternative to wheat pancakes and are dairy, gluten and refined sugar free.
Organic Buckwheat Pancakes:
Ingredients:
150g organic buckwheat flour
250 ml organic almond milk
1 organic banana
1 tbsp organic coconut oil
1 tsp organic vanilla extract
Blend all ingredients together. Fry on medium heat, oiling the pan with a little coconut oil and turning half way. Be aware that these take a little more time to cook than wheat pancakes so you might need a little more coconut oil to prevent sticking.
Healthy Option 1:
Organic Caramel Pecan Pancakes
Top the pancakes with creamy caramel sauce and a handful of dehydrated pecans.
Healthy Option 2:
Hazelnut Chocolate & Banana Pancakes
Top the pancakes with organic banana slices & chocolate hazelnut butter.
